Describe the most interesting TV commercial you have seen recently.
Students, for this assignment, we want you to use the terminology that you learned in this class to describe the most interesting TV commercial you have seen in recent memory. Your description needs to be 3-5 sentences long, and completed by next week Tuesday's class. We are going to review these comments in class. Each comment is worth 10 points.

The other day I saw a TV commercial for deodorant. The setting of the commercial was a football game. The subjects were two adults: one man and one woman. There was a wide shot of the football game. There was a CU of the couple. There was a medium shot from the perspective of the couple, and the football team they were cheering for scored a touchdown. There was a CU of the man, as he raised his hands in the air celebrating with a big smile. There was then a CU of the woman, who smelled his BO, and she was frowning. The final image said "Old Spice, so you can both win."

My example is from Jersey Shore. I like how they show the new previews for the next episode at the end of every episode. I liked the part when they showed Ronnie & Mike fighting and Mike bashed his head into the wall.
ReplyDeleteI like how the TV show Family Guy. I also like how they say a fact and also show flashbacks right after they say the fact.I aslo like how the charecters are and how they act. hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha .
ReplyDeleteI've recently seen a few episodes of the TV show "Walking Dead". I've liked some elements of the films style. For one thing, there's a consistent color to the whole show--everything is shot in grey tones that gives it a creepy feel. There's also a feeling of the inescapable zombie masse they build through lots of reveal moments: like seeing a single zombie, in a medium shot, stumbling through some broke down cars, then cutting to an extreme wide aerial shot showing a mob of zombies who are surrounding the main characters.

The comerical is about Doritos and every time they eat one they have a woman pop out of no where. Then The last guy is SOO despriate that he just pours the bag on him to get more to show up. The reason i like this is because Its a comedy commercial and got people interested in it.

Today I saw a documentary about the places on university. I like how they interview the people. They way they made the video, and where they film it goes really well. Most the interviews they have was a family business company that has been there for years.
ReplyDeleteSo I saw a commercial the other day that try to sell this cream cheese. I think it's call Baby Bell's cheese. The lighting of the commercial was bright. I can see that eating it show happiness in every bite. Everyone seem to enjoy it. The lady show the cream cheese for every random place where the enjoy it.
ReplyDeletei like family guy. i like the show because its funny,specifically peter's comments. tho peter is the main chacter, the family add to the story in the back ground ,functioning as part of the B role. bacause family guy is a cartoon, they have to edit there drawing in order to make it in to a motion picture
ReplyDeleteI liked the video we watched about the open stores and how they are family owned. I wish we could have finished it but from what i have seen so far it looks like a well done video. I also like the different camera shots.
ReplyDeleteThis past Saturday, I went to CMA to watch "PUSS IN BOOTS." I think this movie is good because it brings back memories. But it would've been better if the rising action and climax is a little bit longer and have more action.
ReplyDeleteI like the documentary "Open During The Construction" that we just watch. I like it because there's music playing at the beginning that gets my attention. Also, I like how the people that are being interview is telling why they choose to open their business on UNIVERSITY AVE.

Because i've not been in this class for a while i'am looking forword to learning how to use and control the video recoreder. Because i didnt come since the first week i wanna catch up in all the work. If possable i want to get some catch up work so i can be caught up with the class.
ReplyDeletemy favorite commerical on t.v i've seen is probably the state farm one. when you need them state farm is their. i always thought it was funny and a commercial i dont mind watching more then once. also it makes me wanna get state farm insurance.

One thing i like about this show is that every time when the show is done they show what is coming up next and the most thing i like about bad girls club is that every time when each girl talk they will show what the girls have to say . That's what i like about the film :]
ReplyDeleteMy favorite t.v. show is Ghost Whisper. This is my favorite show or film because every time when she see's a ghost , there will be a flash back on what the ghost wants to say to her and she will have a flash back on what is going to happened. The ghost sometimes come for help or they either come to harm people who were either friends, family or a loved one. It's basically interesting that's what I like about this show or film.
ReplyDeleteTHE MOST INTRESTING COMMERCIAL I HAVE SEEN RECENTLY IS A GIRL TALKING ABOUT GAMES I FORGOT WAT COMPANY SPECIFICLY BUT SHE TALKS ABOUT THEM THEN SAYS "I HAVE THIS BOYFRIEND AND HE SAYS I THINK YOU LOVE THAT GAME MORE THAN ME AND I SAID HE WAS RIGHT SO I DUMPED HIM WHATS YOUR GAME?" I THOUGHT IT WAS FUNNY AND CUTE.
ReplyDeleteThe T.V. show that interested me is NCIS. The only reason why it interests me is because the criminal stuff they have to find and how they have to find it. The way they set the show up just really interests me. Thats why i choose the T.V. show NCIS.
